Located in the heart of the Arts District in downtown Columbia, Missouri, this performing arts center is a cutting edge space for artistic experiences. The goal of the building is to bring together local Columbia creatives and host events like True/False film festival, concerts, performances, etc. The entrance creates an alluring glow at night to welcome artists and guests to the site. The entry is all enclosed featuring creative studios, music studios, and dance studios. The local artists not only perform and exhibit their work here, but practice in these spaces as well. The stage and outdoor seating is all covered by a glass roof and enclosed by green walls surrounding the perimeter to block out the outside world. Overall, the audience will experience a new type of creative community that is collaborative and highly vibrant.
